Who am I?

I'm a UBC Engineering graduate and practicing software engineer, and a lifelong Vancouver resident who has called Canada home for over 30 years.

Why choose me over other tutors?

I bring real-world experience that most tutors don't have. I watch each student closely — their pace, their confidence, their willingness — and adjust accordingly. Every two weeks, parents get a short summary of where their child is at and where they need support. I use storytelling and hands-on exercises to make the material stick, and I push students just enough to discover what they're capable of.

Do you teach in person or online?

Both — whichever suits your family. Sessions can also mix formats week to week.

What if my child is falling behind?

I slow down. More story breaks, more hands-on exercises, no judgment — just steady progress at the pace they can actually absorb.

What if my child is ahead and wants more challenge?

I speed up — harder problems, AP-level material, and more independent work sooner.
